“Build It and They Will Come” consists of 4 parts. In part 1, I’ll be focusing on the Temple, the “It” in the title. In part 2, I will be taking a look at Alcibiades and his fellow Athenians, the “They” in the title. Part 3 takes us to Sicily, which was the setting for the most critical phase of the Peloponnesian War, when Athens sent an enormous force of ships and men to conquer the island; part 4 is where I’ll try to connect the dots and make some historical sense of what happened in Sicily.
