Here’s the temple from about half a mile away. (The sheep kind of show up when you’re taking a photograph.) It’s a Doric style Temple from the 5th century, located in a region of Sicily that had been populated by a non-Greek people called the Elymians, an Anglicized version of the Greek Elymoi.
